Conic Circles+Elipses

The model displays two basic conic sections: circles and ellipses. The figures are generated behaviorally as opposed to algebraically. The turtles attempt to behave like points on the specified shape, using feedback to make decisions about how they behave. The partner to this model is called 'Conic Sections-hyperb+parab.' In the following demonstrations, notice how the turtles cast about in search of resting points. Each turtle continuously receives feedback on whether or not it is moving closer to a satisfactory location. If it is, it continues on its course, and if it is not, it changes direction randomly, eventually hittng upon a suitable path.
