There are 800 molecules in the top section and none in the bottom section. The entire wall seperating the sections is removed after 20 cycles and the molecules quickly distribute themselves evenely through out the box. (252 k)

The plot to the right shows the total number of green molecules that are in the top half of the box.

The same as above but only 25% of the wall seperating the sections is removed. Notice that it takes much longer for the molecules to distribute themselves evenly throughout the box. (784 k)
There are 800 green molecules in the top section that initially have a velocity of 10 and a mass of 5. There are 800 blue molecules in the bottom section that initially have a velocity of 5 and a mass of 5. The wall seperating the molecules is completely removed. (634 k)

The first plot on the right shows how many molecules are on there initial side of wall. Notice that the faster moving green molecules reach equilibrium more quickly than the blue molecules. The second plot shows the average energy of each color of molecule.
