Weak Acid Weak Acid models the characteristics of an acid that does not dissociate completely in solution. The model allows users to set the dissociation constant for the acid (Ka) and observe the correlation between Ka, dissociation, and reactivity. Two plots in the model allow the user to observe the changes in pH over time and construct a titration curve for each weak acid that is modeled. This model is best viewed as the second model in the Bronsted-Lowry Acid-Base package. For detailed instructions on using the program, take a look at the info window from the Weak Acid model.
