Hi! I'm Aditi Wagh, a PhD candidate in the Learning Sciences program at Northwestern University.

My research interest lies at the intersection of cognition and design in the context of science education. I investigate students’ intuitive knowledge about scientific phenomena to design computational modeling supports that bootstrap this knowledge and facilitate learning. I examine students’ interactions with these computational models to characterize learning processes. My research is heavily informed by the theoretical frameworks of Knowledge in Pieces, Constructionism and Complex Systems. I employ semi-clinical interviews and design-based research methodology in my work.
