ProbLab is researched in middle schools in ChicagoLand.
This research is partly funded by the
The National Science Foundation.
In Chicago Public Schools, we have been collaborating with Stone Scholastic Academy.
In District 65, we have been collaborating with Nichols Middle School.
ProbLab is also being used by independent educators, whose insights and feedback are highly beneficial to our ongoing design process.
TJ Leone's company, Leone Learning Systems, Inc.
provides teaching, tutoring, and enrichment learning opportunities in math and computer science for children age 6 and up.
In addition to developing his own curriculum and software, TJ uses curriculum and materials developed by researchers at Northwestern
and provides feedback which informs their design and research. TJ uses ProbLab material in his
probability and statistics course for gifted
middle-school students at Northwestern University's Center for Talent Development.
